To make the most out of a day at Riyadh Zoo, visit during the cooler months to catch the animals up and about.

Opened in 1957, the first animals kept in the enclosure were presented as gifts to the first three kings of the kingdom.

Today there are a range of animals to see including mammals, birds and reptiles. With large enclosures for the animals to roam in, see bears, camels, elephants and hyenas. Visit African animals, Australian animals and animals from North America. The zoo is also a great place to observe locals going about their daily life.
