Reviews
We went to ROKA for brunch and chose the Premium Brunch for 255 SAR per person, and honestly, it was such a great experience. The price felt very fair for the quality, variety, and overall experience you get. The service was excellent, and we loved the atmosphere the music really added to the vibe. We started with the Kiuri Kamikaze mocktail, which was so fresh and refreshing. The sashimi platter was excellent, especially the yellowtail tartar with chili and lemon so fresh and delicious! Some of our favorite things from the buffet: • Edamole — SO good, we went back for it twice! Loved the tangy flavor. • Corn with ponzu butter • Panko fried prawns • Soy chicken with sio konbu salad — so refreshing • Okonomiyaki — really yummy • Aburi salmon with wasabi pepper — one of our favorites! • Yakisoba noodles with mixed vegetables — loved the flavor and the chewy texture • Korean fried chicken — such a nice flavor For the Robata/Main Kitchen selection, we chose the beef short ribs with sesame soy glaze. The beef was so tender and flavorful, and the miso bun was insanely good! The ROKA dessert platter was honestly the highlight! The presentation was beautiful, and everything tasted amazing. The fresh fruit and crème brûlée with pistachio and olive oil dressing was to die for. I also loved the green tea pudding cake the flavors were so well balanced. Definitely going again! 🥢✨
We visited ROKA for the brunch buffet at around 2:00 PM. Although Japanese cuisine isn’t usually my first choice, I really enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the desserts were beautifully presented and delicious. It’s definitely expensive, but in my opinion, the quality and overall experience made it worth it. Great place for a special occasion.
the best experience as always. ROKA Riyadh is truly one of the best restaurants in the city and a must-visit for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment i arrived, everything was outstanding—the atmosphere, the food, and the exceptional hospitality. A special thank you to Supervisor Sir Joferd and Sous chef Michael, who made us feel genuinely welcome. their professionalism, attention to detail, and warm personality ensured that every part of my visit was perfect. We’d heard so much about this place over the past couple of years, so we were really excited to finally try it couple of months back. Overall, we were expecting a higher standard of food given its reputation as a high-end restaurant. While everything was fine, the food was fairly average and comparable to many other restaurants. There wasn’t anything particularly unique about the experience. - “Crab Salad with prawn” 4/10 The crab portion was surprisingly small, it felt more like a garnish than the main ingredient. Disappointed. - “Salmon and Yellowtail Sashimi” 6/10 The Yellowtail wasn’t good, the Salmon was average. Not the freshest. We’ve had better sashimi. - “Dumplings” 8/10 They were delicious. - “Beef Katsu Sando” 8/10 Pretty good! Loved them. - “Main Course” 7/10 Good but nothing special. And for the dessert, honestly hard work on the presentation than the actual dessert
An exceptional dining experience! The service was outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel truly welcomed. The management clearly maintains high standards, ensuring everything runs smoothly. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious—each dish was beautifully presented and full of authentic flavors. A perfect Japanese restaurant that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for quality and consistency.
