After a two-hour drive, you arrive at Ushaiqer, one of the oldest towns on Saudi Arabia’s central plateau. The village is a well-preserved example of Najdi architecture. It served as a major stopping point for pilgrims from present-day Kuwait and Iraq on their way to perform Hajj or Umrah in Makkah.
