Description

The tour starts with a visit to Jabal Sawda, where you can enjoy the cool mountain climate and views of lush greenery, misty valleys, and diverse vegetation. It is recommended to bring jackets and blankets as the temperature can be quite cold.

Optionally, you can take a cable car ride (extra ticket required) offering scenic views of Abha from above. The cable car seats up to eight adults, with trips down and back each taking about 20-25 minutes.

Next, visit El Sahab Park, perched on a mountain with two nearby viewpoints and frequent cloud cover, giving the feeling of walking through clouds. The park hosts many monkeys, so bringing some food for them is advised.

The final stop is Rijal Almaa village, 130 km away from Abha via a safe road. This village is known for its colorful traditional Arabian houses and is on the tentative UNESCO World Heritage list for its cultural significance. You will visit the village museum, which has many historical artifacts with descriptions in English and Arabic. Your tour leader will guide you to the best panoramic photography spots.
