From Winter Park, a 10-minute coach ride takes you to Jabal Ikmah, located in a desert canyon. Known as an ‘open-air library,’ Jabal Ikmah displays the largest collection of inscriptions, rock art, and petroglyphs in Saudi Arabia, dating back to the 9th century BCE.
Jabal Ikmah is listed on UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register and contains over 300 historically significant carvings. It holds the world’s largest concentration of Dadanitic and Lihyanite inscriptions.
