Description

Edge of the World & Harymila Valley + Kashtah – Experience Step away from the city's noise and into the timeless beauty of the Saudi desert. Journey to the Edge of the World Your day begins in Riyadh as we drive toward one of Saudi Arabia’s most spectacular natural wonders — Jebel Fihrayn, famously known as the Edge of the World. As we leave the modern skyline behind, the scenery transforms into vast open desert, ancient rock formations, and endless skies. The drive itself is part of the adventure. You will see wide plains, desert wildlife, and geological formations that tell the story of millions of years of natural history. Our experienced guide will share stories about the land, the ancient caravan routes, and the importance of this region in Saudi heritage. When we arrive, you will understand why this place is considered one of the most dramatic viewpoints in the Kingdom. Standing on the cliff, you will look out over a massive natural plateau that stretches endlessly toward the horizon. The view creates a powerful sense of freedom, calm, and awe. From Cliffs to Valley After fully experiencing the Edge of the World, we continue our journey to Harymila Valley, a beautiful and peaceful desert oasis. This valley is known for its palm trees, soft sand, and seasonal water streams that bring life to the land. Harymila offers a completely different atmosphere from the dramatic cliffs — it is calm, green, and welcoming. This contrast makes the journey even more special. Traditional Saudi Kashtah Here, we set up a traditional Saudi picnic known as a Kashtah. Comfortable seating, carpets, cushions, and shaded areas are arranged to create a relaxing outdoor living space. You will be welcomed with: Arabic coffee (Gahwa) Tea Fresh dates Light snacks This is how Saudis truly enjoy the desert — sitting together, talking, laughing, and sharing moments. Kabsa Cooking Experience( as requested) The heart of the kashtah is the Kabsa cooking session. Kabsa is Saudi Arabia’s most beloved dish, made with fragrant rice, spices, and meat. You will join the cooking process: Preparing ingredients Learning about spices Cooking together Watching the dish slowly come together This is not a demonstration — it is a shared experience. As the aroma fills the air, the group bonds naturally around the food. Social Time, Coffee & Games While the food cooks, guests enjoy Arabic coffee and tea, relax, and get to know one another. We also organize light games and social activities that help everyone connect and feel part of the group. This creates a warm, friendly atmosphere where people from different countries and cultures feel welcome. Return to Riyadh
