Watch out for the pronunciation of this name. It's 'Bat' and then Ha; the 'th' combination is not the same as the 'th' in 'path', for example.
This is a large outdoor secondhand souq, with contemporary items on offer as well as traditional fare. Its narrow alleys through old buildings spread out across various blocks. The souq offers cheap bargains on electrical household items, clothes, camping gear and army surplus stores), furniture, car parts, bikes, spices, vegetables and general foods, as well as jewelry. It's also got a fish market.
The name Batha'a also applies to the area in which Batha'a souq is located.
