Samba
Saudiarabia
SAMBA Bank of Saudi Arabia was formed in 1980 to take over from the remaining sites of Citibank, a former colleague during the 1980s. In 1999 it re-emerged as the United Saudi Bank and was only fully branded as SAMBA in 2005. Today SAMBA specialises in both personal and business banking and performs all transactions under an international policy, which all foreign banks were required to sign in order to sell to Saudi nationals.
SAMBA was the first bank to offer Priority Banking in Gold and Diamonds as well as Telephone Banking. It was also the first bank to open an entire department dedicated to Investment Banking. This is the bank to be with if you want to be on the cutting edge of all financial developments. In more recent years SAMBA has increased its international presence and aims to integrate customers and markets around the world for a more successful service.
