The concept of Wing Zone, a chain of takeout/delivery restaurants, was created by two American students in their fraternity kitchen in 1991. After opening their first branches in 1993, the chain became one of the fastest growing of its kind, opening the first restaurant outside America in 2010.
Wing Zone offers both takeaway and delivery, and is famous for its 15 award-winning flavours which are used to make their chicken wings unbelievably tasty. Aside from wings, the restaurant also serves chicken fingers, burger sandwiches, buffalo shrimp, potato wedges, fried mushrooms, beer battered onion rings, and a multitude of other fried foods which can satisfy the most intense of cravings! Dessert at Wing Zone is not often needed, but they do serve up brownie and banana concoctions.
The fast food chain sets itself aside from its competitors with the sheer range of sauces it provides. Far from being a standard American wing restaurant, Wing Zone was created by people who know what good food tastes like, and one of their 15 sauces - Garlic Parmesan - was awarded 'Most Creative Sauce' at the 2003 National Buffalo Wing Festival in Buffalo, New York.
