Discover the Essence of History in the Heart of Al-Ahsa In the heart of Al-Ahsa, spanning an area of 2,500 square meters, the museum opens its doors at its new location, following a 17-year journey of dedication and passion at its previous site. Here, you don't just visit a museum… you live an experience that takes you on a journey through time, learning about Saudi Arabia's heritage in general, and Al-Ahsa's heritage in particular, through an elegant and diverse museum display style. The museum consists of three main halls filled with thousands of heritage pieces telling stories of a beautiful past, offering visitors a complete cultural experience combining education, enjoyment, and wonder. Explore the Al-Ahsa house section with its authentic details, from the bride's room and its decorations to the 'Hawi' (storage area), the hearth, and the home, where the walls pulse with ancestral memories. Wander through the agricultural path and learn about farming tools, passing by the fruit and vegetable vendor's corner, basket-weaving and palm-frond crafts, and pottery. The museum also includes a desert (Badia) section and a maritime section, embodying the diversity of the Saudi environment in all its details. At the Childhood Memories Museum, you'll be taken back to the best days through a large collection of traditional games. The museum also features a dedicated exhibit for Saudi Aramco, along with a scientific and cultural museum containing handwritten manuscripts, teaching tools, and old curricula. Enjoy a tour of the traditional market, featuring 22 shops for craftsmen and vendors, where you'll see traditional crafts as they once were, with all their tools and secrets, in an experience simulating daily life in the past.
