Description
Begin your tour at Uhud Mountain, the site of the historic Battle of Uhud. Learn about the seventy companions martyred here, including Hamza ibn Abdul Muttalib.
Next, visit Bani Haritha Mosque (Masjid Al-Mustarah), where the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) rested returning from battle. Then see Masjid Al Dira, named after the armor the Prophet is said to have worn there during his preparations.
Continue to the Seven Mosques (al-Masajid as-Sab'a) on the western side of Mount Sela, built at strategic points related to the Battle of the Trench in 627 CE.
After a lunch break on your own, visit Al-Ghars Well. This well provided fresh water used by the Prophet for drinking, ablution, and after his passing.
Proceed to Al-Faqir Well, also known as Salman Al Farsi Well, historically linked to the Prophet and his companion Salman Al-Farsi, located in a former orchard.
Then explore Al-Hajim Well and Date Farm, believed to predate Islam, where the Prophet also drank water.
Before returning, stop at Souq Al Kamasha, an ancient market with over 430 years of history. After a brief walk through the souq, you will return to your hotel.
