This could be the best seafood I’ve ever had in Riyadh. The food was delicious, the staff were great, and the atmosphere was fantastic. It definitely won’t be my last time here.
Good place with a delicious food. I’ve got a pot of calamari in a cream sauce with a gratinated mozzarella and a plate of grilled shrimp kofta. Portions are generous, if I knew it before the visit I’d order only one dish. Restaurant has a terrace and located right behind the metro station.
I visited Smakna Balik Restaurant for Iftar during Ramadan, and it was truly an exceptional experience. They prepared an open buffet with an impressive variety of dishes, and every single item we tried was absolutely delicious. From fresh seafood to traditional Ramadan specialties, everything was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It is rare to find a buffet where the quality is consistently high across all dishes, but Smakna definitely achieved that. What made the experience even more special was the staff. They were incredibly hardworking, welcoming, and genuinely kind. You can immediately feel their sincerity and honesty in the way they treat guests. Despite the busy Iftar time, they remained attentive, fast, and always smiling, making sure everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of. I had actually visited the restaurant before Ramadan for a regular meal, and it was fantastic back then as well. This consistency shows how much they care about maintaining high standards, not just during special occasions but all the time. The atmosphere during Iftar was warm, lively, and very family-friendly. It felt like a place where people come together to enjoy not only great food but also a wonderful dining experience. Overall, Smakna Balik Restaurant exceeded all expectations. If you are looking for outstanding food, generous variety, and truly sincere hospitality, this place is a must-visit — especially during Ramadan. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be coming back again.
