この文化祭は1985年に初めて開催され、それ以来、サウジアラビアで最も有名な文化イベントとなっています。祭りはリヤドの外、45キロメートル離れた場所で行われ、ラクダレースで幕を開け、その後2週間にわたって歴史やダンス、芸術や職人技を展示、再現し、披露します。

それには、伝統的な陶芸、扉や窓の古くからの木彫り、織り、伝統的なジュエリーや皮革工芸品の製作などが含まれます。国内外のフォークロアアーティストたちは2週間を通して踊り続け、音楽家たちはアラビア半島の古代のリズムに合わせて演奏します。詩人たちは朗読を通じて観客の承認を得ようとします。

これはすべて、数十年にわたる歴史の中で地元の色彩と見せ物です。27年が経過し、まだ王国で最も人気のあるイベントです。

毎年2月から4月までの2週間開催されます。男性専用日や家族専用日については地元の新聞を確認してください。
