A fairly average restaurant with equally average food and service. They could take some cues from their Khobar branch, which offers a much better overall experience.

I recently visited Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant and had a satisfying dining experience that truly reminded me of authentic South Indian home-style food. I would rate the restaurant 4/5 for its taste, traditional flavors, and comforting atmosphere. We ordered both the veg thali and chicken thali, and both meals were filling and well-prepared. The veg thali had a good variety of dishes with balanced flavors, fresh vegetables, tasty sambar, rasam, and perfectly cooked rice. It gave a complete homely meal feeling, especially for anyone missing South Indian food. The highlight for me was the chicken desi style curry served with the chicken thali. The curry had a rich traditional flavor with proper spices and a homemade touch. It was neither too oily nor overly spicy, making it enjoyable with rice as well as chapati. The chicken was cooked nicely and tasted fresh. Another thing I really liked was the desi curd. It had a fresh homemade taste that perfectly completed the meal. Small touches like this make the dining experience feel more authentic and comforting. The restaurant atmosphere was simple, family-friendly, and welcoming. Service was decent, though during busy hours it can take a little extra time. Still, the staff were polite and attentive. Overall, Anjappar in Dammam is a very good option for people looking for authentic South Indian flavors and traditional desi-style meals. The food truly brings back memories of South Indian hometown taste and homemade cooking.
“I had a wonderful Iftar party at Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant. The staff were very kind, welcoming, and professional. Their service was excellent and everything was well organized for Iftar. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for family gatherings and get-togethers. I also really appreciated that they have a clean and comfortable prayer room, which made the experience even better during Ramadan.
