Had an excellent dining experience at Albasali Seafood. The seafood was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The portions were generous, and every dish we ordered was delicious. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, with a pleasant atmosphere for families and groups. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided great service throughout our visit. Great quality food at a reasonable price. If you're looking for fresh seafood in Jeddah, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended, and I would happily come back again!
Honestly, Al Basali 2 is pretty overrated. The food was just average and nothing really stood out or felt special. I expected much more based on the hype, but overall it was a pretty ordinary experience.
The restaurant has a lot of character. Staff were friendly and accomdating. They do try and get as many people as possible in there though which can make you feel a bit crammed. Grill fish was really good and the fried shrimp was the best.
The taste is undeniably good, but we had to wait 50 minutes for the food to arrive (after ordering and being seated) It would really help to increase the number of chefs and cashiers to improve service speed. Unfortunately, an experience like this makes me hesitate to recommend the place to friends. Nothing really special. Success isn’t built on celebrity visits or photos, it’s built on the customer’s first experience.
Honestly I was surprised by the place. Their fish goes head to head with the top seafood places in Jeddah. The fried najil best fried fish I’ve had period and their suaadyah rice is perfect. The place tends to get crowded , lack of reservation and close by parking make it a bit of a hassle. But otherwise my god was the food great. The hareed grilled was amazing quality of fish but lacking that charcoal grilled flavor Calamari perfection Prawns great flavor a tad over cooked Over all worth a visit and you be happy. Couple of fish with a kilo of prawns and calamari and sided came to about 800 sar which is great value for money.
