Royal Malabar Restaurant – Full Experience Review I recently visited Royal Malabar Restaurant in Dammam, and from the moment I arrived, the experience felt thoughtfully planned and very well executed. This is a restaurant that brings together authentic Indian cuisine while also offering Chinese and Thai options, creating a multi-cuisine concept that is both practical and enjoyable. The location is convenient, and the restaurant itself is easy to access. Once inside, the interior immediately stands out with its strong Indian-inspired identity. The use of wood, carved details, and structured partitions gives the space character while still keeping it comfortable. What I appreciated most is the layout. Instead of one large open dining area, the restaurant is divided into semi-private sections, which makes it ideal for families and groups who prefer a bit more privacy. At the same time, there are larger tables available, so it works well for different types of customers. The lighting is soft and warm, and overall, the atmosphere feels calm, organized, and easy to enjoy. The menu is very detailed and well-structured. It includes a wide selection of dishes across Indian, Chinese, and Thai cuisines, although the focus is clearly on Indian food. You can see this especially in the range of grill items, rice dishes, and traditional recipes. One thing that stands out is the clarity of the menu. Prices are clearly listed, and calorie information is included, which is very helpful. There are also notes about allergens, showing attention to detail and customer awareness. When it comes to the food, the experience was consistent from start to finish. The appetizers were well-prepared, with good balance in both texture and flavor. I would also like to take a moment to personally thank the owner, Mr. Abdelazeez, and his partners for their great hospitality. They took the time to share valuable information about the restaurant, its concept, and how it has developed since it was first established. This added a very personal touch to the visit and made the experience even more meaningful. One of the best food experiences I’ve had! The food was very tasty, truly living up to the name Royal . Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and well presented. The buffet had great variety and quality. A special mention to the amazing staff team they were very polite, attentive, and welcoming throughout the visit. Highly recommended, and I will definitely visit again!
One of the best hotels I’ve visited in Dammam so far! I tried the fish grill and fish manga curry with appam, and both were absolutely delicious. The taste brought me back to home-style food. The quality, flavor, and service were excellent.
