Absolutely loved my dinner at Hekayat Bahr! The nautical-themed decor is stunning – they have a massive ship in the middle of the restaurant, fishing nets, and maritime elements everywhere. It really feels like you're dining by the sea! The food was fantastic – we tried the grilled sea bass, creamy shrimp risotto, and baked crab with cheese. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. The seafood pasta and paella are also worth trying. Portions are generous and the presentation is beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helped us with our selection. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, perfect for family dinners or a night out with friends. They even have a children's play area. Located on Tahlia Street in Olaya, it's easy to find. Highly recommended for seafood lovers! Will definitely be coming back.
It was honestly a great deal, especially for groups. They currently have a weekday promotion for 129 SAR that already includes a mixed seafood platter, grilled and fried fish, shrimps, and crabs plus 2 plates of rice. The serving size was surprisingly big and can easily cater for 4–6 people, so it’s really perfect if you’re dining with friends or family. What I enjoyed the most was their fried seafood. It was very well seasoned that you honestly don’t even need any sauce. The flavor was already there and every bite was satisfying. Overall, the portions are generous, the food is flavorful, and the promo is definitely worth the price. If you’re going with a big group and want something filling without spending too much, this place is a good choice.
My third time dining here and the food is really outstanding! Every meal we had was full of flavor and cooked to perfect. The staff here genuinely cares about their guests. They were attentive, courteous, and pleasant. They made us feel like VIPs big thanks to Jen and Faraj for accomodating during our dining. The environment of this restaurant is quite beautiful. The atmosphere is modern but inviting, making it great for both private meals and exuberant groups.
The decoration is nice, but the chairs are not comfortable because they are a bit low. As for the food I tried the 89sr offer, the fish was good but the fried calamari and shrimp were very bad and harder than the stone as for the crab it was well cooked but a weird taste I don't know if stuffed with something creamy, the presentation of the platter is much better than the overall taste. As for the service I waited 16min for someone to take the order. I believe with the staff they have this restaurant can do better.
Very nice taste of variety of sea food and nice presentation. Very cooperative staff guiding for the selection and helping. Outside parking is limited and for sure, it is paid parking only. Overall great experience and recommended for sea food lovers.
