We contacted the restaurant via WhatsApp in advance to reserve a specific table, but we were told that they do not take reservations for specific tables. However, when we arrived, the table we wanted was empty and we were then told that it was reserved, which was a little confusing and disappointing. As hijabi women, we preferred a table in the corner for a bit more privacy, so we asked a few times if it would be possible to sit there. Raghad was helpful and eventually accommodated our request, which we appreciated, although it did take several attempts and made the beginning of our experience slightly uncomfortable. As for the food, the salad was delicious, the truffle Alfredo was especially good, and the pizza was nice. The atmosphere is beautiful and the waiter who served us was very professional and provided excellent service. Overall, we enjoyed our visit, but I hope the restaurant can be clearer and more consistent with its table reservation policy in the future.
We always enjoy dining at Sofi's Bistro. The restaurant is elegant, well decorated, and has a pleasant ambiance. The staff are excellent and helpful, especially Issa, who took our order in a professional and humble manner. The food is delicious especially the Eight Hours Spaghetti is extraordinary and a must try. They also have a gluten free Pizza. We will definitely will keep going back.
I came in with high expectations given the restaurant’s popularity and the awards it has received, and I’m happy to say it exceeded them. Every dish we tried was delicious and showcased the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into the cooking. The Bresaola Pizza was outstanding and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The Banh Mi was delicious, authentic, and full of flavor. The Truffle Fettuccine is definitely worth trying, with a rich and satisfying balance of flavors. I also loved the gnocchi—simple in the best way, allowing the high-quality tomatoes, cheese, and other ingredients to shine. The Artichoke Salad was incredibly fresh and really demonstrated the restaurant’s commitment to using exceptional ingredients. Overall, every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and the quality was evident from start to finish. I truly look forward to coming back. Reservations are highly encouraged. Perfect culinary experience! The food is of very high standards; I felt like I was eating at a restaurant in France or Italy. Great attention to detail and amazing full Gluten Free menu. Personally we really enjoyed the Greek Salad, the Gluten Free Bruschetta pizza with Buffala, the Gluten free Chicken Alfredo, the Spaghetti Bolognese, the veal steak with mushroom sauce was amazing 🤩 and the Diavola Pizza was perfect (I love their pizza dough). Thank you to our perfect host and server was Kenneth🙏 And they were so sweet to offer my daughter a glutten free Creme Brûlée which was top notch 👌🏼 😋 The decor is so pretty and music ambiance is very chill. Plus you have the great advantage of visiting the Hayy Jameel exhibits and events. The Hayy Jameel location for Sophia’s Bistro is becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Jeddah.
